Saturday 8ths Games

1st Team

Steady 2-0 win for the first team. A slowish start was soon turned to control as we dominated the ball and made chances. The breakthrough was found by L. Nuttall after some good footwork and a tidy finish. Chadderton caused a few problems with the direct ball but it was dealt with well by the defence. Into the second half it was more of the same, and the second goal came from some silky J. Hebb footwork finding the impressive L. Neal who dispatched. We missed plenty of chances to grab more goals and a few scares from Chadderton nearly made it a tense finish, but great defending and goalkeeping kept the clean sheet. Goals- L. Nuttall L. Neal MOTM- J. Hebb, top top performance controlling the play and causing plenty of issues for the opposition.

Dev Team

+3 Points for our Development Team as Old Boltonians failed to raise a team this weekend. Focus now goes to the next game vs Breightmet.

3rd Team

A team drew 0-0 away at 2nd placed Breighmet reserves, Breighmet had lots of chances, mainly from distance, but were thwarted by man of the match Charles Stanford Campbell every time. Other notable performances were by Joe Law and Tyler Dycher in a battling display throughout. Clements had chances to win it with a few headers going wide from corners. A good display and more of that needed to climb up the table.
